The Welding Operator joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Welds products from ferrous and non-ferrous materials in accordance with the work orders and technical information issued. Expert in techniques required in order to effectively process the materials with which they work. The emphasis here lies on welding work of limited complexity. Often produces a complete series of the same product.
The work is characterized by the use of various separating, joining and forming techniques and high requirements relating to quality and craftsmanship. The Welding Operator is characterized by craftsmanship, accuracy, meticulous care, self-reliance and quality consciousness. Works in accordance with instructions and regulations relating to working conditions, safety and the environment.
This position reports to the Production Manager.

Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience

Employee will be subject to warehouse environment, cold temperatures of 40 degrees , and will be required to wear jacket. Noise levels of 90 decibels can be reached at certain times. Can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles while in manufacturing environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.)
