The Localization Manager is responsible for New Product Implementation in the Supply Chain Center North America. What is needed to excel in this position is proven experience as a Localization Manager, as well as demonstrated diverse experience in technical aspects around Localization and/or Internationalization.
The role requires the ability to work in an environment that is fast paced and to work autonomously and manage to aggressive delivery schedules. Also important is the ability to successfully work with technical and non-technical people alike, and a desire to learn new tools, processes and concepts are skills necessary for this position.
A critical challenge is the ability to manage the work of internal teams and external suppliers located around the world. Daily work requires the management of technical and visual quality, coordination with staff, setting of budgets and management of costs and motivation of team members. The correct project localization strategy, as defined by the localization manager, can produce high impact results and can shorten localization time-to-market, reduce costs and help the company achieve its global business objectives.
The Localization Manager will be part of Supply Chain Center North America, and will report to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing.
