Overview

Vanderlande's Supply Chain Center North America (SCC NA) is responsible for the procurement of all equipment & services, subcontracting of 3rd party designed equipment and site installation labor of material and baggage handling systems in USA, Canada and Mexico.

 

The Supply Chain Coordinator Intern is responsible for the process flow of information from SCC NA to the internal/external project team. In close cooperation with Buyers, Logistics and Sourcing, as well as cross functional project teams to produce an on-time, in budget product to our Clients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Equipment Delivery Program (EDP) dates are verified correct.
  • Communicate with Buyers/Logistics to ensure delivery instructions & on-time Site deliveries.
  • Ensure shipments deliveries are communicated to Site team prior to Site arrival.
  • Run/Monitore reports to monitor PO creation and equipment delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings to assess project progress.
  • Create PO’s and Change Orders from purchase order requests (POR).
  • Archive contracts and documents as required Worksite /Sharepoint.
  • Participating in Sales RFQ’s and Bids for installation, etc.
  • Create Installation Agreements below a certain dollar value (Services/Airports/WP).
  • Coordinating resolutions to receiving and payment issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited university or college with a degree related to Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior similar internship experience a plus, but not mandatory
