    Do you stand out as a Field Service Engineer?


    We are looking for a Field Service Engineer in North America. You will be part of the team for support, installation and maintenance of our hardware and software products.



    On a daily basis, your responsibilities will be:


    • Install, support, diagnose, repair and upgrade hardware or software;
    • Technical project delivery responsibilities;
    • Interact with the customers in order to configure the security checkpoint components to their technical and operational requirements;
    • Investigate root cause failure for products in the field and proceed with troubleshooting;
    • Provide technical support for customers, partners, distributors and integrators;
    • Document interventions and resolutions for future reference, and assist debrief meetings;
    • Cooperate with your manager in the establishment of policies and procedures related to Operations;
    • Understand completely the functionality of the eVelocity and Scannojet products in order to implement updates and changes when deemed necessary;
    • Train local technicians to give the first line support at the customer site.


    • Technical degree, or work experience equivalent and;
    • Min 3 years exp. in Field Support in IT;
    • Specific experience in is a plus:
      • Linux environment;
      • MySql or equivalent database;
      • Debugging complex software;
      • Mechanical conveyor systems;
      • Siemens PLC;
    • Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems in a quick and effective manner;
    • Client-oriented personality, with good relationship skills;
    • Capable to work in an extremely stressful environment to deliver mission critical solutions;
    • Quickly able to gain knowledge of our products;
    • Dynamism, initiative, resourcefulness and versatility;
    • Employee will work from home when not on site. Home location can be anywhere in the United States as long as it's nearby an airport. Employee will have to travel up to 75% of the time.
