    Vanderlande’s Sales Department is responsible for the development, pricing and proposal descriptions of Material Handling Systems for our customers. In this position you will be responsible for assisting in the development of pricing tools and documentation of pricing benchmarks to be used in our sales projects. In this position you will work closely with the Sales Engineers and Pricing Consultant of our Sales Department.

    Vanderlande’s Summer internship program will run for 12 weeks. This is a paid opportunity. Students are expected to work normal business hours: Monday through Friday. Program dates are May 21st to August 10th.


    • Identify the needs and requirements of the Sales Engineers regarding a dedicated Sales Engineering Website on our internal Microsoft Sharepoint portal and potentially also on or linked into our internal company intranet (Vikipedia)
    • Build a website that supports those requirements and is built on the same principles as our internal processes.
    • Identify which information and tools are commonly used by Sales Engineers to perform their daily tasks and help categorize these and build a structure that supports maintaining these.
    • Identify the needs for onboarding, training and information searching for Sales Eengineers and create a structure that supports these needs.


    • Presently enrolled in 4 year-university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree or within 6 months of post graduation; preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering Computer / Software / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or similar
    • Good knowledge of MS Excel is a must, other applications and/or databases preferred.
    • Available atleast 20 hours a week
    • Strong team-oriented mentality and acceptance of responsibility for project completion.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
    • Strong organization skills
    • Proactive and hands on work ethic.
