Vanderlande’s Site Management Department is responsible for the Installation and project execution of Material Handling Systems, Airports, Warehouse Automation and Parcel Sortation systems for our customers throughout North America. The increasing number of new projects and our geographical spread means the team is growing and expanding. You will report hierarchically to the Manager of Site Management.
As a Project Engineer – Warehousing & Parcel you will lead the on site coordination and logistics within this group for delivery of our automated material handling system projects and related projects in North America. The Site Management Project Engineer sets the preconditions and creates the environment in which his team members can perform and accelerate, in projects. You will be responsible for all the logistics activities involved in the installation of automated material handling systems on our biggest, most complex projects. You are proactive in reporting and resolving logistic, technical or organisational problems and have good communication with the customer about progress, out of scope work, non-conformities, timely payments and all other site related issues.
Serve as a trusted and dependable team member and advocate for site management team members in your group to quickly resolve issues including but not limited to the following:
