  • Overview

    As a Senior Services Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and growing existing accounts by managing customer relationships and ensuring service delivery meets the client’s needs as well as identifying new opportunities for material handling systems and services. The Services Account Manager is responsible to transform a technical solution into added value solutions. The Services Account Manager will take the lead in both strategic account management and development of opportunities through the sales phase.



    • Act as the primary point of contact for the relationship of strategic customers.
    • Develop and realize profitable growth of the service business by selling new opportunities at existing customers and new customers, based on added value.
    • Develops the commercial and organizational side of the service organization to pursue and achieve profitable targets in collaboration with the Corp. Services Management team.
    • Review customers’ material handling processes and identify opportunities to improve system/team performance via process changes or equipment enhancements.
    • Managing internal and external resources to present the best possible value propositions to the customer.
    • Building customer relationships at all levels including technical management of customers.
    • Coordinate sales material, pricing strategy and proposal content.
    • Effective internal communications to prioritize, manage expectations, coordinate internal support, secure resources and set-up project teams.
    • Manage Daily, Weekly, Quarterly customer interactions/communication to build and sustain a partnership with key customer personnel.
    • Ensure site based service contract performance meets KPI’s. Fully understand factors effecting KPI performance and drive improvements where needed. Facilitate quarterly business reviews and provide feedback on opportunities to optimize the customers operation.
    • Understand customers systems and business processes and utilize knowledge and relationship to strategically place the company in a long-term partnership with the customer.
    • Assure performance of the Services team delivery are executed to match the as-sold functionality.


    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferable a Technical degree.
    • 5-8 years experience within the Engineering, Material Handling or Automotive Industry in a consulting/selling role. Baggage Handling Systems preferred, not required.
    • Excellent communication and social skills.
    • Entrepreneurial skills and drive to win.
    • Ability to convince others of the potential solution chosen.
    • Experience and high level of comfort in presenting to multi-level contacts in medium to large organizations.
    • Ability to build and present business development plans to an international audience.
    • Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills in order to create and display professional presentations.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel as needed.
